Welcome back dear wranglers. It’s time to rejoin the sacred hoop for outdoor adventures of music, camping and silly fun and the Mountain Music Festival has cooked up one of the best weekends of the summer in West Virginia. The stage sits smack dab in the middle of ACE Adventure Resort, a 1,500-acre outdoor adventure property in the heart of the New River Gorge, WV.
Festival attendees are always close to the Gorge’s best outdoor activities, ranging from some the country’s best white water rafting to rock climbing, mountain biking and basically all the things. And because of the simple ethos behind the festival, you’ll be surrounded by a community of like-minded outdoor adventures who don’t mind a little moonshine with their music.
Since 2014 festival organizers have been working hard and looking forward to sharing each summer with friends, new and old, who love the Appalachian Mountains and its soundtrack.
Mountain Music Festival 2021 is back this summer and our lineup is shaping up to be a hot mix of funky jam tunes, spicy Appalachian string pounding and mountain shaking beats.
Mountain Music Festival is going into it’s 7th year at ACE Adventure Resort and the visual art team brings the creative atmosphere to another level! Slinging paint alongside 30+ bands is one extraordinary way to spend the weekend. Get inspired in the Pigment Sanctuary while Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Lettuce, The Wood Brothers, The Infamous Stringdusters, TAUK, Big Something & more jam on the mountaintop. Art Installations
The Pigment Sanctuary seeks to create an immersive experience by combining the senses to provide an inviting atmosphere of creativity, mind bending visual artworks, interactive workshops and tantalizing smells and tastes teas by Spiral Roots Sanctuary, all brought together by a new collaborative installation project. Rest beneath the boughs of the Mother Tree of Life and let the imaginative world of the Pigment Sanctuary melt off your face. Visit the 2021 visual artist lineup and see whose going to be on the scene.
The centerpiece will contribute to a more themed environment utilizing the talents of each artist to collectively achieve this atmosphere. This experience will be immersive and metamorphic with stretched and woven lycra simulating the canopy above, and recycled materials sculpted into a large tree trunk that will also serve as an altar and gathering space.

Water Park Fun
The splash pad provides cool, fun-in-the-sun entertainment for everyone. Located adjacent to the lake, and close to refreshments, enjoy a full day playing at the waterpark! Full Day and Half Day passes are available as well as the money-saving Unlimited Season pass for those who are visiting West Virginia for more than a couple days.
Pizza and lounging on the shore. Waterslides. Ziplines. Climb giant inflatable mountains, and jump into the lake. Splash down from the tower on the lake zip line, or launch your friends into the water on the infamous BLOB feature. When you’re done racing down our 200’ twin water slides and jumping on trampolines, kick back on the beach with a slice of wood-fired pizza to watch the sunset.
