Elements Festival’s four main stages embody the natural forces it celebrates. The Fire stage crackles with high-energy performances for thrill seekers, while Earth transforms into a surreal dreamscape of glowing trees, cosmic mushrooms, and floating jellyfish. Air serves as a hidden sanctuary of sound nestled deep within the woods, while Water becomes a sunlit playground with acrobats, playful characters, and festivalgoers are encouraged to embrace swimwear and dive into an immersive 360° stage experience.

Elements has evolved into a standout multi-day camping festival, thriving at its location of Long Pond set in the woodlands near the racetrack featuring an on-site solar farm to drive sustainability initiatives. Fans can explore art cars reminiscent of Burning Man and rows of guest-created theme camps known as Vibe Villages amidst the grounds, large-scale art installations, interactive performances, and 3D video projection mapping, alongside a Health & Wellness lineup offering yoga, sound baths, aromatherapy, dance, comedy, and multidisciplinary workshops.

One of the most unique things about Elements is its participatory culture. From fans hosting interactive camps in the Vibe Villages, to curating pop-up performances along the paths and creating surprise happenings in the woods, the festival invites, embraces, and supports its festival family that aspire to BE the Elements.

Another cornerstone of Elements’ community spirit is the Art of Change program, designed to uplift marginalized voices. In 2024, the program focused on environmental change. Applications for the 2025 Art of Change program will open closer to the event, while submissions for Vibe Villages, artists, and performers are now live.

Passes are available now via the official Elements Festival website as well as an all-new option for 2025, dubbed the “Entourage Pass”, which grants backstage access & more. Attendees can choose from diverse accommodations, including car camping, glamping, nearby hotels, and ready-to-go RVs or tents. Shuttle passes, providing transport from major Northeast cities, are also on offer for those preferring not to drive.

Welcome back festivarians to the Wranglers’ ten-year anniversary tour as we continue to sashay through the Florida spring festival season at the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park with the 7th annual Suwannee Spring Reunion March 20-23, 2025. This is Johnny Sixpack’s JamKamp and the House of the Cracked Rib. Headliners Sam Bush, The Infamous Stringdusters, Donna the Buffalo, Kitchen Dwellers, Peter Rowan Walls of Time Band with Don Grant Reggaebilly, Larry Keel’s Electric Lady Land, Jim Lauderdale, The Ain’t Sisters, The Nikki Talley Band, The Grass is Dead and so much more filled the coffers with hits of the tightest ilk while the Suwannee forest did what it always did and took care of the heavy lifting. Don’t look now but you’ve found yourself back to Suwannee Spring Reunion “25: High Vibration / High Impact.

sashay (v) – to walk in an ostentatious yet casual manner, typically with exaggerated movements of the hips and shoulders.

They came with purpose, three “gentlemen” poets who without drive or design would be sitting in the depths of the shadows, fraternity style. This was something altogether different. If you build it, they will come. Even without Big Betty the template proved effective, once again in creating a small space where magik is want to happen. Good job Tommy Lazarus. Back from the dead. Anything helps. And Ka’aoli the diplomat. With friends like these, who needs enigmas?

You have found yourself deeper into your forest. This is the maze inside the maze and the game within the game. It’s just life but at this level, everything is more than it seems. Somewhere hidden is the key that unlocks all doors. There’s two jokers in every deck and you must be this tall to ride this ride. This is March in the sunshine state and the parade of the ouroboros has continued to bear fruit as the procession’s promise to travel Florida without the use of interstates plays out in beautiful detail. The slower pace, the moss covered backroads, less cops and hideaway surprises. This was a page out of Tamiami’s book in a season when everything reminded Lucy of him. No one loved Florida more than he, from the moss-covered backroads to it’s whelk covered beaches. Wherever he went he was sashaying. After months in the high country winter, her clothes were suited for this climate as it remained the medicine to cure all ailments.

carouse -/v/  drink plentiful amounts of alcohol and enjoy oneself with others in a noisy, lively way.

Ka’aoli knew from experience that a monster pile of firewood was the main ingredient for the party they were trying to build and it was far easier than being talented or even clever. The consigliere forked out the pretty penny for lumber in a county where recently, half the trees had been knocked down. Same as it ever was, this is the potluck. The bi-annual celebration where both the Hatfields and the McCoys come to frolic in the forest together. The fire would need to burn long into the night. After all, this is Live Oak.

The House of the Unwell, Suwannee Spring Reunion, 2025.

Payasita and an invite to Clown Town. Lucy didn’t know if the little girl clown was the downest to clown but she was definitely downer than most. Always willing to learn from professionals. Lucy wasn’t certified by measure but she was easily influenced as soon as Payasita planted a clown nose on her beak. She was a crying on the inside clown in a band of  “curious” Winnie the Poohs.

They banged a gong a couple weeks earlier at Amp Jam and it had been a special return to the park. Tuesday of this week one could look around the kamp party and realize that Spring Reunion was going to be a remarkably “heady” endeavor. The roster was filled with attendees of an unusually colorful palette and this cast of characters would come with their own set of motivations and direction. Oh the humanity!

The sun shines on every dog’s butt once. The Counselor was in the right when he pushed for the high vibration, low impact this year. After last year’s debacle they had been judged and found wanting. With scant amounts of control and focus, this year was the right sauce, and in this scene, with it’s love and protection, stirred a contagion of the highest impact. Where the magic happens. Where the rubber meets the road. Not in the dark, behind rows of tapestries. Welcome to Johnny Sixpack’s, home of the smoked-cracked rib and right on the street, with the people. In the Suwannee dirt, where everything comes from. You are the super spreader event. The jam on the jelly roll.

The Dr. is in. Kamp Happiness. Suwannee Spring Reunion, 2025.

Welcome to Jamkamp. Abandon hope all ye who enter here. Your only hope is, come morning, you’re left with at least one kidney. They’d learned everything they could from Waffle, Sunshine, Scotty Smiles and Space Dog and this year the Hobo Kamp was raised by the crisis unit. Tommy Lazarus, Ka’aoli of the Cracked Rib and Lucy Loo. From Easy Ed Broyles they learned to keep the guitars warmed up. Dance monkey dance. From Pedro’s wisdom, they put the fire out by the street. This game is chess, not checkers. This crowd was getting better at creating and wiping away their footprint at the Suwannee. Certainly not bad work if you can get it. Find out how to get paid for doing what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. What did Blanco sing? “We’re gonna do it even if it doesn’t pay.” Thanks to the pickers from Fireside Collective and Glass Camels for joining the circle. Thanks to Rooster for sliding in with the Lionel Richie three-shot. It doesn’t pay to well, but the campfire jams at Suwannee Spring Reunion are best version of something.

Somewhere along the way, Capt. Dominique Michelle noted the nearly sacred timing that was beginning to occur at random. Lucienda figured it was happening everywhere and a result of a higher level of spiritual planning. Completely by accident, but at the same time, cultivated and practiced. They didn’t even recognize they were holding the key ring, opening all the doors. Step inside, we’ve been waiting for you.

They came from the high country as well. The 828 sent their best and brightest, men who claimed towers for a living, scraping their knuckles on the very heavens. Pirate of the Sea? More like fruitcake of the Sea. Was Wizard’s Lord of the Rings rag a map of Watauga County, North Carolina. You absolutely cannot make this stuff up. Somewhere along the way they had exchanged key cards; the Fruitcake of the Sea was now a Debris Monitor and Lucienda was an Energy Advisor?

Varying dimensions and more. Lucy was surrounded by people who claimed to be able to see different dimensions and beings from those dimensions. Lucy, an admitted simpleton knew she was grounded, literally to the dirt of this dimension and was unable to see others. The hard truth was that Lucy was busy enough dealing with this plateau of reality and at the end of the day, was busy trying to figure out this circus and these monkeys. This firmament here was more than enough for her simple reptilian brain.

A Pirate’s Life. When it came to boots on the ground, the administrative crisis team earned their money. What’s a Kamp to do with grease balls? The wooks were either working or paying their way while the “respectful”folks were the ones trying to slide. Be careful the long arm of the hook. They had the Ween flag, the Kenny Chesney and all manner betwixt and between. As usual, Kamp Happiness went home with none as they had been pilfered and pillaged by their own fleet as they had done to them the day before. It had always been an uncomfortable alliance, but after they cleaned the entire camp of jolly’s they and ate eat other like rats in a barrel. Frightening. Unpleasant. Predictable fun. Colorful were the stories of men who passed through dangerous waters, unaware they were being hunted. This is how we learn. As he walked by the Fallout Shelter about nine in the morning he noticed his Jolly Roger hanging over Lucy’s Kamp. He barked, “That’s my flag! My wife bought me that flag. It’s very special. Someone stole it this morning.” Lucy chirped back, “Yes sir, that was me. It was about five-thirty this morning. A real stealth mission with a small team. Thanks for making it so easy.” As Lucy turned to get the flag down for the gentleman she quickly turned, “Before we go any further. Full disclosure sir. We have slopped paint all over your flag and tagged it. Pedro accidentally wrote Amp Jam. Just don’t want you to freak out anymore when you see it.” Or the Ween fan; “I don’t have to steal it back, it’s mine!” I’m not sure that math checks out sir. Just be careful, we are reasonably respectful but we are not the only pirates in this forest.

Barbarella’s brown chili went down well with Bobby’s tequila and bag of beers. Did Dylan really restring his own doghouse bass with twine? How does Shakes lose a tank and come back with the same bass? Strange bedfellows to be sure. Don’t threaten me with a good time. Whether it was Sgt. Sargent playing Lowell George or Steve Click opening with “Lawyers, Guns and Money”, the proof is in the pudding and the truth remains, this is our pickin’ festival. The family jam is the butter on the biscuit. It’s the four am push that goes all the way to the next morning. When it’s real good and everyone is in the pocket…don’t touch that dial. Just ride it out baby. There will be ample time for sleep when you’re dead. Even Tommy Lazarus complained about the six am set but, as always, he was just fooling. He knew that’s exactly where he wanted his festival dollar to go.

It was Sticky Finger Nick’s dirty thirty birthday and yes, the question was how that thug ever made it past twenty-seven. Some mysteries are best left unsolved. The Krewe le Confusion had harvested some of the bivouac material and built a replica of a mainsail that filled with wind, and along with the jolly Rogers, burst forth in a vision of Spanish galleon majesty on the hunt for booty. There was no way that woman was his real mother. She was way too classy. A mix up in the hospital perhaps?

Her Spaceness was hoping to be baker acted as soon as possible, that way she would be back in 72 hours with time left to enjoy the show. Lessons learned from Scottie Smiles years ago. She remembered a page out of his book, just tape her to a tree and hang bells around her to keep away the crazies. No sarcasm, he pleaded. It was not going to help in the long run. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?

Gnome on the Range. Who knew? Ticks are attracted to forest gnomes so it is behooven to you to have a few around. They end up covered with ticks and Lyme disease, thus slippery face. Sorry Gnomita, Bell’s Paulsey is no excuse for bad behavior. There’s no place like gnome when you’re comfortably gnome. Not to mistaken for an elf, the gnome apparently found a semi-crusted dinosaur footprint in Luke Sidewalker’s retention pond. Great gravy, one sees plenty of strange and unusual science in these woods. Be wary not to collect too many gnomes. One or two is perfect. Any more than that and they can be a real handful, especially if they think they’re being clever, which is usually.

It rings for thee, not me. It was a whose who of the best and the brightest. Trinket and all her sass was there. K$ was there. Blanco led the music circle while blowing flames of moonshine. The Gravedigger split the Cialis and the engineer came away with the Mississippi blue-ribbon, most improved award. He selflessly strung up the camouflage bivouac before proceeding to purge his tequila completely on the Oldsmowagon’s front tire. For what was thought to be his curtain call he lifted his frame completely off the ground and slung himself, sideways through Tommy Lazarus’ screened in kitchen, crushing both table and prep station. After that low water mark, he did somehow manage to pull himself together and advance with little or no drama. He even managed to score some tail which seemed unfathomable at the time. Thank you Lightnin’ Steve for the Lost Lands ground score. The rest of the bivowak ended up with Capt. Delsin and the Suwannee River Pirate thugs.

The family jam boasted the talents of Leonard the Broken Banjist, Ka,aoli and the ten-year plan, Rooster, the Cock of the Walk, Blancito, Gravedigger and more. Patrick lead the sunrise session as the Suwannee faithful watched another day break over the forest. Please remember that posting videos of KH is strictly forboden.

When exactly did Sean get the keys to the castle and the house divided golf cart? Nothing’s free in this world. Enjoy that Jamaican dry rub my friend. And speaking of the higher vibration, I hope Grandpa Jack had a good time at Spring Reunion. Promises had been made. After the low vibration of last year, Lucienda had given assurances to the Ain’t Sisters that this year they would make an effort to remember this was a family bluegrass festival and not a completely different animal. There would be no amplification of any sort (except for the spitting gnome). They donated the megaphone to Camp Wet Noodle out by the Farm Field. Thanks to Rick for rigging the megaphone with some type of lawn mower battery. The boys are back in town. Tommy Lazarus had brand new teeth. Ladies, the line forms to the right. Richard donated a hooka to the KH smoking room. Thanks to all of the premier premium card holders for supporting the beautiful people. It’s the key that opens all doors and with great power comes great responsibility.

Suwannee River Pirates. A big takeaway this festival was sailors realizing they were in unsafe waters. It’s good when reasonable adults can come together and parlay in good faith. But mind you, we are not the only pirates in these woods. There are other clans in the River Pirate family and they are not so respectful. They are the other, separated by disrespect and hair mites. The hard truths remain; when they steal your flag from us, you are no longer dealing with us, you have a new problem, wheeling and dealing with uncultured swine. If you love your Ween jolly, keep it close, ever so close. There is no stoppin’ what can’t be stopped. At some point the truth reared its ugly head in the realization that most of the kamps stealing flags back and forth were members of the same family. It really makes it tough for an outsider who doesn’t know what’s going on.                           This is how we learn.

Beware the wenches. These are loose alliances, writ the faintest pencil. At some point, we eat our own. In one rare case, The Pirate of the Sea woke up to a madman slurping rum from his belly button. Just lie back and let it happen and you’re welcome.

VIP goes to Ka,aoli. The Consigliere. The Counselor. Only break one law at a time and don’t be quick to call parents when life goes sideways. Lies through omission. The five year plan even bore fruit as his accordion stylings didn’t end up with him being taped upside down to a turkey oak. What you call rachet he pronounces rachay. High Vibration. Low Impact

Visit the Spring Reunion website and like their social media sites on Facebook. Check out the basement pulp of our Wook Wranglers line of state of the art social media outlets. The world is yours. Thank you to the staff, the park, the procurers of other camps, the loose nuts and bolts and mostly the underbelly of Kamp Happiness that continue to help provide a open place for all to congregate and unspool. Even gnomes. Although honestly, you let a few gnomes move in and well…you get it. Gnomification.

unspool-/v/ unwind from or as if from a spool.

They spent Monday night with the bourgeoisie on river road, not far from Kendall and Kendall. They spent Tuesday down the street in some cracker house that belonged to the first governor or Florida. You can’t write this stuff. Believe what you want. You think we publish, higgly-piggly all that’s fit to print? Heckfire no, if we recounted half the stuff that gets caught in the net we’d be shut down like a bad daycare. Loose lips sink ships and those are the stories of a bygone era. It’s the straight and narrow from here on out.

Now they were headed out. naturally with Whorehay, with a bee-line to Steph’s house and then it was due south, along with side B of Jimmy Buffett’s Son of a Sailor. He was headed to the mouth of the rat and Pedro and Senor Rivera in Delray. It’s still spring in Florida with a top speed of three-quarter time. Plan A was still in effect.

Time to revel, Suwannee Spring Reunion. Photo by Todd Sargent, 2025.

Keep up with the Wranglers as we dangle lightly until Resonate Suwannee in May and then forward into a summer of festival slop, including FloydFest, Mountain Music Festival and more. Believe what you want. Down to clown? Thanks again for everything. Spring Reunion remains the acorn that becomes the oak. It’s where the journey begins and ultimately where it all ends up. Music lives here.                    Namaste y’all.

Welcome back festivarians to the Wrangler ten-year anniversary tour and the beginning of the annual festival season at Spirit of Suwannee Music Park with Amp Jam #1 which came together in the woods of Live Oak, Florida March 6-8, 2025. SOSMP proved once again why it’s the premier camping/music venue in the country and be reminded, young grasshopper that the park always provides. Running low on pillow milk? Just poke around until the moss fairy provides the cornucopia. Welcome to the one fire where neighbors collaborate until they realize they have everything they need, together. Welcome to Amp Jam #1: Suwannee Always Provides. You don’t even know what you need until you poke around.

Eddie Roberts and the Lucky Strokes. Amp Jam #1, 2025. Photo by Jeff Zbar.

With influences and a bloodline connected back to bygone festivals such as Wanee and Bear Creek, Amp Jam #1 was a special treat and a gift for the longtime Suwannee faithful. Gov’t Mule, Dumpstphunk, Lettuce, Eggy, The Headhunters, Eddie Roberts and the Lucky Strokes, Diggin’ Dirt, The Legendary JC’s, Electric KIF, Shak Nasti and more treated the masses to three days of music, art, food, and frivolity. The intimacy of the setting, along with old friends and a manageable schedule that allowed for visiting time all contributed to a laid back weekend of down-home Florida goodness.

They were back in Florida with a mandate to travel on as few miles of interstate as possible. There was no way Lucy was taking I-4 from St. Pete to DeLand. That parking lot would devour her body and soul, rendering the leftovers unrecognizable. Anyway, since her blowout in Jacksonville, the Oldsmowagon was jittery between 65 and 70. All the better reason to slow down and take the backroads. After all, this is Florida in March. God’s country.

Yo, crack a book bro. These woods belong to Mario and Spencer and for all the old friends, there’s always a couple of friends that you’ve managed to miss all these years. This is how you get to know everyone at the park, one hippy at a time. It might take your whole life. The old gypsy woman was correct. It was a portent of things not exactly sideways but more corkscrewed. It was old school fun and a loop of friends coming together for another romp in the woods. Meow and meow.

Gov’t Mule at Amp Jam #1, Spirit of Suwannee Music Park, 2025. Photo by Jason Nail.
Our staff of qualified professionals is ready to serve you.

Some of Lucy’s earliest memories of the park was Gov’t Mule playing “Fearless” in the field. She was hanging with the angels from A Bazaar Universe when she heard the familiar sound of a Warren Haynes guitar. It wiggled up her back and it was good to be home. She hung out on the back rail where she could enjoy the music and hassle the pedestrians on main street. The sound was clear and loud. She would usually be content there, but something special was happening. First, the horns gathered on stage left and underneath everything she could hear the beginning tricklings of “Spanish Moon” that would drag her, like a tractor beam, straight down to the pit. Thrilled it wasn’t filled with lawn chairs, she grabbed the nearest hoodlum and slow danced on the dance floor under the Spanish Moss.

“There’s whiskey and bad cocaine
Poison get you just the same
And if that… that don’t… kill you soon
The women will down at the Spanish Moon.”

The focus on the Amphitheater Stage had proven to be a sound idea. Everyone was there together. In between set breaks and artists there was plenty of time to walk back to camp for a refresher course. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Everyone was together with nowhere else to go. And of course the lurking from camp to camp that makes camping festivals so different. That’s where the sauce is.

New meat on the brass pole. (The internet never forgets.) Photo by Jessica Demers, 2025.

The Fallout Shelter was in full effect thanks to Pedro and Gaylord for showing up early and homesteading the site. Her “flea market” stylings contributed to the overall inner-city funk.

Possum moonshine and other potential disasters. Lucy was never one to cast the first stone but storing jars of formaldehyde directly next to jars of moonshine seemed like a recipe for some quality original content. They were both quart Ball jars and looked identical, except for the opossum tail and claws in the latter. Something about boots made of squirrel and opossum, as seen in the October Banana Republic catalog. Some mysteries are best left unsolved and what happens at the Street Walker’s house stays at the Street Walker’s house.

Any fool could see the event was a success. Something about focusing the energy on the Amphitheater Stage added to the ambiance. Things were dense with quality fun, in every direction. There was ample time to lurk about and find shenanigans in what many of the patrons call home, or church or whatever. This is Live Oak. The alpha and the omega. When you dance here you are dancing with many ghosts, born of celebration and music.

It wasn’t her fault. Blame the PTSD but she forgot Bfly was filling the bed with air and had plugged the pump into the back of her truck. She wasn’t driving fast when she left but it didn’t matter and was already too late. The cord attached to the mattress jerked violently and yanked the bed outside the tent…except the door was too small for the Texas king mattress and the entire tent was grabbed and dragged along toward hippy trail. Throw me something mister.

These are certainly strange and colorful times we live in. Seems that there were forgotten tunnels leading from the park all the way to Ole Mexico. Tricky times to be sneaking around, to be sure, but what’s a wook to do? Who was that getting “braced”, sitting bookended, on the back of somebody else’s ride. Apparently not everybody is into Mulakas, Dino. The Suwannee River Pirates don’t like it when folks trap their crew. The glaring lack of Jolly Rogers and privateers illustrated just how unsafe the waters can be off the Barbary Coast.

Can we be real? Lucy made no bones about it, on many occasions she was known to miss out on sets because she was a bonefide camp monkey, but when Horhay and the uncommon Street Walker invited her to the Daze Between Band, how could she know what brand of funk lay ahead? Featuring John Scofield, Ivan Neville, Eric Krasno, Tony Hall, Ian Neville, Deven Trusclair, Jennifer Hartswick, Ryan Zoidis, Alex Wasily, Viveca Hawkins, Ari Teitel and guests, this set celebrated the career of George Porter Jr. in slick funky fashion. Playing the first three songs off the Robert Palmer debut album, Sailin’ Shoes, Hey Julia and Sneakin’ Sally Through the Alley, they pushed into Get Out of My Life Woman and Yes We Can Can….a true Toussaintathon and one of the best sets she’d seen in a while.

Did that fruitcake really ask if she liked kimonos? Of course she liked kimonos? God is her copilot. You’re welcome for her service. What do you know about the Burma anyway?

Pound Town, Stripper Poles and Beyond. It was the only bar he hadn’t been banned from and somehow his credit was still good. They’d been kidnapped earlier by the Jason waterfall and ended up on the stripper pole. Don’t judge. Things were moving pretty fast and the nights without sleep were beginning to catch up.  J Sploosh pulled up to Pound Town and poured everyone into the bar, promptly ordering the special, raw milk with Cialis rim. Drifting too far from the shore, Baitbucket and Bfly Irish goodbyed their chauffeur and proceeded to stroll back to the camp. Not far from the Hulaween Kamp they were picked up by the Cracker Train and promises of rides back to  camp turned to dust as they were promptly shenghaied right back to Pound Town. Warm crawfish and pretty girls anyone? The lesson, if a man needs one, is not to have plans and don’t argue with the Suwannee. She knows what she’s doing and she always provides.

Thanks to Steph Giera for taking the reigns on the festival poster and bringing the camp their precious Horhay. Putting the whore in George.

BS Bar regulars at Amp Jam #1, 2025.

Just what exactly is happening here? The Street Walkers’ banana liquor had upended in his pocket and was running down his leg like some kind of viscous oil slick. It was time for a costume change before that splooge and the moonshine came into contact with a cigarette ember and burst into flames. The rendering of opossum fat is not a pleasant aroma and once you’ve taken it in, it lingers for a time.

By the time the rains came Sunday afternoon, the party was all but over. The Hobo Kamp slid into the womb of the Bill Monroe Shrine and picked a few more songs and enjoyed some leftover liquor before it was finally time to lay down and celebrate another successful jaunt in the forest. Namaste y’all.

At the end of the day their books were in the red and once again, swamp thugs had kidnapped their chicken. Lucy knew this time they’d made a crucial mistake for no longer did they negotiate with terrorists. Thanks to Plugged’N Production for the site lighting. Visit the Amp Jam website and like their social media sites on Facebook, Instagram, X and reddit. Please remember, although it may seem advanced, we use no A.I., but rather, all good, old-fashioned, free-range, man meat. You’re welcome. You’re worth it.

Thanks for making Wranglers Media your number one source for entertainment news. This whole rap has pretty much been the same for ten years so by now you gotta know what’s coming. Half-ass, low bar, rehash pulp. Believe what you want. Follow the Wranglers as we head back to SOSMP for Suwannee Spring Reunion with more of the greasiest Mexican and Ka’aoli and the five-year plan. Join Gainesville’s best at the Kamp Happiness family jam with Blancito and Lucienda Rosalita. Kick off your shoes and sit a spell.

En Pablo confiamos.

The 7th Annual Suwannee Spring Reunion at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Florida, takes place Thursday through Sunday, March 20-23. This family-friendly music festival includes camping, music workshops, kids activities, arts & crafts, and daily yoga. Nestled amidst 800 acres of majestic Spanish moss-draped oak and cypress trees along the Suwannee River, the weekend will be jam-packed with music rooted in Americana, newgrass, bluegrass, folk, blues, and more. You’ve found your way back home. Welcome to the Suwannee Spring Reunion 2025 schedule.
Suwannee Spring Reunion is pleased to present the daily schedules! The lineup includes performers with long histories of epic Suwannee performances along with a history of showcasing some surprise one-of-a-kind collaborations. With many acts playing multiple times, music will be staged in a variety of areas, including Big Cosmo’s Amphitheater, the Music Farmers Stage at The Porch and The Back Porch, Music Hall, and The Tent.
Highlights over the weekend on Big Cosmo’s Amphitheater include festival headliners The Infamous Stringdusters (Thu), Kitchen Dwellers (Fri), Sam Bush (Sat), Peter Rowan Walls of Time Band with Don Grant Reggaebilly (Sat/Sun), and four days of Donna the Buffalo!
Big Cosmo’s Amphitheater will also host sets by Larry Keel’s Electric Larry Land, Steve Poltz, Jon Stickley Trio, Fireside Collective, Ain’t Sisters, SCYTHIAN, The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys, Paul McDonald & The Mourning Doves, Mosier Brothers Band, Verlon Thompson, Blair Crimmins & the Hookers, Hattie & Joe Craven Quartet, Nikki Talley Band, Lee Hunter & The Gatherers, and more.
Spring Reunion starts Thursday afternoon with Big Cosmo’s Celebration of Life on the newly renamed Big Cosmo’s Amphitheater with a performance by Big Cosmo’s Band to honor festival co-founder, Randy Judy, who passed away in spring 2024.
Festival Director Beth Judy says, ”Our first festival was Suwannee SpringFest in March of 1997 at the Spirit of Suwannee, so it is fitting that Randy’s tribute ends up being in the Spring (after having to cancel the 2024 Suwannee Roots Revival due to the hurricane). Plus, Sam Bush will be there, and Randy loves Sam! I’m quite sure that if you look close enough, you’ll almost see Randy sitting at the Amphitheater Stage tapping his foot with Vassar and Col. Bruce sitting beside him!!”
The Tent is a fantastic spot to immerse yourself in the music and dance and, new to this year, has been relocated a bit closer to Vendor Row for added convenience! The Music Hall remains an excellent spot for special indoor listening experiences with stage lighting, air conditioning, and a cafe. Highlights over the weekend for both include sets by Jim Lauderdale with Donna the Buffalo, Steve Poltz, Peter Rowan, Todd Albright, David Grier, Jim Lauderdale & Verlon Thompson, Jon Stickley Trio, SCYTHIAN, Blair Crimmins & The Hookers, Grandpa’s Cough Medicine, The New Quintet, Sloppy Joe, Quartermoon, and more!
Suwannee Spring Reunion is excited to debut the Music Farmers Stage at The Back Porch—a “VIP section for everyone. The Back Porch (formerly backstage of The Porch Stage) will be open from the start of the music until the end of each night’s performances, providing plenty of seating options for relaxation, food from delicious vendors nearby, and live video feeds from Big Cosmo’s Amphitheater to ensure you don’t miss any of the action. It will have a full bar set up, and WildCrafters will be vending nearby with a non-alcoholic bar serving kava, teas, and booze-free craft mocktails.
Special performances will take place at The Back Porch during the evening changeovers at Big Cosmo’s Amphitheater. Featured performers include Grateful Dawg Tribute with Billy Gilmore & Mickey Abraham, Ralph Roddenbery, Jeff Mosier, Roy Book Binder & Todd Albright, Verlon Thompson, and Nikki Talley & Jason Sharp.
The Music Farmers Stage has a new location inside the former Porch Stage building, which is a bigger and more comfortable location for workshop participants. During the day on Friday and Saturday, there will be a number of workshops, including Blues Guitar w/ Roy Book Binder, Flatpicking w/ David Grier, Dobro w/ Jared Womack, Guitar w/ Tom Nelly, Singing w/ the Cravens, Banjo w/ Jeff Mosier, D.U.B. Drums w/ Gaurav Malhotra, among others.
The Music Farmers Stage at The Back Porch is sponsored by the festival’s nonprofit arm, Live Oak Music and Arts Foundation (LOMAF). A raffle with a variety of prizes donated by festival merchants, artists, and sponsors will be held on site to benefit LOMAF to support music and arts programs in North Florida schools.
Festival attendees are encouraged to bring their musical instruments with an open call to play in the many campground pickin’ party sites throughout the weekend, including at Slopryland, hosted by Sloppy Joe, and the Bill Monroe Shrine, hosted by Quartermoon.

The Amphitheater Stage at the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park is a unique place to experience music. The terraced bowl is shaded by turkey oaks draped with Spanish moss while chairs and hammocks are layered in every direction. For many, it’s the first thing that stands out at the park, and from there, treats can be found in every direction. The Loop, the lake, the river, the Pine Field and the Bill Monroe Shrine all contribute to the patchwork of adventure and fun. As Amp Jam #1 takes shape at SOSMP we are reminded of events such as Bear Creek and Wanee, important cornerstones of the Live Oak family history and continuing tree of rock. Welcome to a new day where the old finds the present. One of your favorite places on the planet? Same as it ever was.

Remember lounging in a stranger’s hammock, listening to Gov’t Mule cover “Fearless” while the kids rode their bikes hither and yon with Dumpstaphunk sets that felt like they’d last all night. Remember the drum circle in the back of the Pine Field that did last all night? “Why am I sleeping in your golf cart? Good question.” There is a new wind blowing. Return to the park as we all set up our camps with lights and absolute gibberish. Beware the Suwannee River Pirates. Find Kamp Happiness near the Bill  Monroe Pavilion and join the family jam. Join Pedro, Gaylord, Moonshine and who knows what other surprises remain hidden.

“Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida is loving home and proud host to dozens of eclectic music festivals dating back decades. Thousands of fans from around the world return time and again, flocking to frolic freely in this sacred space, to dance, commune, connect and coalesce around the intergenerational, genre-spanning live music gatherings. Centrally-located within the sprawling 800-acre campground venue is a celestial crown-jewel, the Amphitheater Stage, a majestic, tree-lined natural bowl with amazing acoustics, set amidst turkey oaks and dogwoods, framed by towering pines dripping in Spanish moss. The brilliant organic beauty creates crucial shade and an intimate container; familiar faces cultivate a familial atmosphere with filial traditions passed down from onstage to the rage. With world-class musicians blessing the Amphitheater Stage year after year, the sum of these sensory parts provide a unique, high-fidelity concert experience that rivals iconic amphitheaters like Colorado’s renowned Red Rocks or Washington’s breathtaking Gorge.”

“Taking place March 6-8, 2025, the inaugural Amp Jams is the first in a series of smaller, focused festivals that intend to spotlight the storied history of The Amphitheater Stage, showcasing numerous artists that are essential to the lineage, legacy, and timeless energy of this hallowed spot. Warren Haynes traces deep roots to SOSMP – and the granddaddy of ‘em all: Wanee Festival – performing extensively with the Allman Brothers Band and his own Gov’t Mule for many years. Certified OGs like Dumpstaphunk, George Porter Jr., Lettuce, and Eddie Roberts (New Mastersounds) each anchored the beloved Bear Creek Music & Arts Festival across a legendary eight-year run. The plan for Amp Jams is to facilitate a reconnection with the Suwanee musical family, congregate the faithful to the park, and to distill the peerless SOSMP experience into its most potent form. Remove the distractions and make only funky decisions on the mighty Amphitheater Stage all weekend long.” -B. Getz of Upful LIFE

Visit the Amp Jam website and like their social media channels on Facebook, Instagram, X and reddit. Also check out the Wranglers Media family of interweb portals. Just lie back and let it happen.

Thanks to Paul for keeping up involved with all the silliness and park personnel for continuing to put up with our shenanigans. Follow the Wranglers as we head into Suwannee Spring Reunion. SOSMP continues its fall season as Tipper comes back for one more in April and Resonate descents on your face in May. It’s a hard knock life. Believe what you want.

Elements Co-Founder Brett Herman adds, “At Elements you’re living on a different planet for 3-4 days. There’s so much to experience beyond the music, there’s always something happening in the Bizarre, Fun Factory, Plaza, Wellnest, and countless other places in the festival grounds… Just moving from place to place you’re guaranteed to strike sparks, start a side quest, and find like-minded vibes.”

Orange Blossom Review celebrated its milestone 10th anniversary this past weekend with an unforgettable festival that drew a crowd of thousands to the scenic Lake Wailes Park in central Florida. The two-day celebration of music, community, and culture reaffirmed its status as one of the Sunshine State’s most highly anticipated and fastest growing events of the year.

Friday’s festivities kicked off in grand style with teen mandolin prodigy Wyatt Ellis and his top-tier band. The young group delivered a colorful set of bluegrass classics, original compositions, and innovative arrangements that set an inspiring tone for the weekend. Later, legendary Texas country savant Robert Earl Keen made a rare live appearance since the announcement of his hiatus in 2022 and treated fans to a number of singalongs, including his signature “Beer Run,” “Feelin’ Good Again,” and, fittingly, “Merry Christmas From the Family.” Closing out the night were award-winning Americana/soul duo The War and Treaty. The husband and wife pair brought their red-hot energy and cheeky storytelling to a packed Friday night crowd, leaving everyone on their feet and buzzing with excitement.

On Saturday, Lakeland-based Van Plating ignited early arrivals with an infectious set from her aptly-named third studio album, Orange Blossom Child, before honky tonk heartache Emily Nenni took the stage with her soulful blend of country and rock. Later, Sam Grisman and his impeccable ensemble gathered around an old school condenser mic and delivered a heartfelt tribute to the music and legacy of David “Dawg” Grisman while sprinkling in familiar favorites from the repertoires of Old & In The Way, The Grateful Dead, and more. Asheville-based bluegrass luminaries Steep Canyon Rangers then brought forth an epic hour of picking, highlighting the group’s dynamic musicianship, tight harmonies, and deep roots in Appalachian tradition. Drawing an unforgettable weekend to a close, JJ Grey and Mofro returned to the OBR stage for a second year in a row, unleashing an electrifying set packed with their biggest anthems and fan favorites, even delivering multiple encores. Reflecting on his return, Grey expressed his affection for Orange Blossom Revue, enthusiastically declaring, “This is our second time playing this festival, but by gosh, if they’ll have us, we’ll play year after year!”

As the 10th anniversary of Orange Blossom Revue comes to a close, festival co-founder Reid Hardman looks back on the incredible journey that has brought the event to its milestone year. “It’s been an amazing ride to see this festival grow from a small gathering to a thriving celebration of music and community,” said Hardman. “This event is our love letter to our home town of Lake Wales, and we’re so grateful for the fans, artists, and everyone involved who believed in us enough to do this again and again. Here’s to many more years of bringing people together in celebration of this incredible town that we hold so close to our hearts.”

With a decade of success behind it, Orange Blossom Revue is poised for even greater celebrations in the years to come, starting with its 11th annual event taking place December 5-6, 2025.
